Two weekends ago, we went down to Colton for the annual Steak and Wine Dinner, a fundraiser for the Catholic school Justin attended as a kid. We had a blast hanging out with both of our families. Sophie had fun playing with my parents' dog Louie. They especially loved wrestling in the creek.
Last weekend, we enjoyed what was probably our last ski weekend of the year. We met up with good friends enjoyed some unexpected powder and sunshine.
Justin has been making a lot of progress on the basement and the bunkhouse. In the basement, he replaced the old fluorescent lighting with can lights, built a new landing at the bottom of the stairs, patched and painted the sheetrock, and is ready to lay down the new floor.
In the bunkhouse, he did the interior framing and is ready for plumbing and electrical rough-in.
Over the weekend we noticed a small growing lump on Sophie's leg. We took her to the vet today and she ended up having surgery to remove the tumor this afternoon. She is still groggy from the anesthesia and is sleeping on the couch looking very sad right now. She should be back to normal in a few days.
