First, we celebrated Sandwich Day (the day between me and my sister's birthdays). This year was pretty special because we were able to get the whole Meyer family together - this usually only happens once a year - before my brother and his wife had to head back to Austria.
Mmm... giant sandwiches

Then Justin went on his annual fishing trip with his college buddies. They spent 5 days on the north fork of the Clearwater River.
Next, we went on vacation in Canada. On the way there, we spent a night on the Washington coast at one of my favorite hotels, Semiahmoo.
Aww, how sweet, we match
An unbelievable sunset on the beach with a bottle of wine
Then we spent three blissful and relaxing days at Whistler, which is a cool place even in the summer. We biked, we hiked, we swam in lakes, we hung out at the pool, we ate great food, and we spent time with some good friends.
Chillin' in the Olympic rings
Cheesy!
We accidentally found a nude dock. And neither one of us realized it for at least 5 minutes. Oblivious!
This is when we left the camera and don't have any pictures. Between then and now, we also:
- Spent a weekend at my parents' lake place in northern Washington (on our way home from Whistler)
- Spent a weekend in Lewiston for Justin's grandmother's funeral
- Had a weekend visit from our friends Jeff and Traci
- Landscaped the entire courtyard and garden area - pictures to come later
- Got certified to scuba dive
- Worked my rear end off at work
- Actually enjoyed CDA in the summer. We've been swimming, biking, hiking, going to farmers' markets, going to concerts, etc. We're starting to really love living here.
And now that we have the camera back, we're off on more adventures. First up, four days of jet boating in Hells Canyon. And then a week in St. Lucia!
