Justin trying to snuggle two puggles
The puggles in their dog snuggies, chewing on rawhide candy canes
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with Justin's family. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of the whole family. We only have this festive one...
We spent Christmas night and the whole day after with my family. I got a picture this time, but unfortunately it wasn't quite the whole family. My older brother and his wife live in Vienna and weren't able to make the long trip. (Speaking of brothers, my younger brother isn't really shorter than me; he was just crouching down for the picture.)
After that we headed to McCall for almost a week of skiing and hanging out with friends. I ended up in the coffee shop on two mornings trying to finalize the 2010 budget for work (how's that for last minute?!), but other than that we had a nice relaxing time. The skiing was phenomenal - we even got first tracks in fresh powder on the morning of our last day. Again, I wasn't very good about taking pictures except on New Year's Eve.
The highlight of the trip, by far, was the Vandals winning the Humanitarian Bowl. We drove to Boise through a snowstorm and arrived in Boise with enough time to do a little cold tailgating. It was so refreshing to see the parking lot of Bronco stadium filled with Vandals and Vandal gear.
And how 'bout that exciting win? Best bowl game of the year, without question.
