15 months old

Edison turned 15 months old last week. He weighs 28 pounds 15 ounces (94th percentile) and is 33.5 inches tall (97th percentile). He is such a hilarious and sweet little boy. He loves his mom, dancing, singing, and giving treats to Sophie.

Edison finally started sleeping through the night last week, but then he had shots and we are back to waking up twice a night.  He is also getting the last of his 1-year molars so that isn't helping much.  The other three popped through a couple weeks ago.  I'm hopeful we can get back to 11 hours straight this week now that I know what it feels like.

In the last three months, Edison not only started walking but running. He can throw and kick a ball pretty well, too. He is learning his body parts right now, his favorites being his belly button and Mom's nose. He is also learning animal noises, his favorites of those are cows and dogs. We are also working on manners, such as eating with a fork and saying please instead of whining.

Edison has earned the new nickname of Smash.  We find ourselves telling him to stop smashing things several times a day. He is all boy, all the time.  He is constantly testing his boundaries and exploring just a little bit too far (once he made it out the fence gate and was headed to the marina) and a little bit too dangerously (that kid is obsessed with electrical outlets).  It's exhausting, but really fun to watch him learn.

Here are some of my favorite pictures that I haven't already blogged.

Playing in the fountain

Entertaining himself while Mom showers

Playing "boat" with Dad

At Eddy's with Dad

I really need to get better about videos
