A trip to the farm, October, and a swimming update

I had some meetings in Moscow last week, so we made a family trip out of it and spent a long weekend with both sets of parents.  At my parents' house, Edison loved playing with his cousin Abby, who just turned one and was also visiting for the weekend.  Trying to get a decent picture of two toddlers proved to be impossible. At Justin's parents' house, Edison enjoyed spending some time out in the field.  

This is the pickup that Justin drove when we first started dating.  In fact, we went on our first date in it exactly 20 years ago.  Can you believe it has been that long?  The pickup has recently been re-restored, so we put Edison's car seat in it and drove it to my parents' house one night. Edison loved it.  On the way home, he pointed out the full moon, told me he was so happy, and then held my hand for the whole 20 minute drive.  I felt so blessed that I thought my heart was going to burst.
