Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving week at the cabin in McCall.  Unfortunately, but expected, there wasn't enough snow for the ski hill to be open yet.  We spent most of our outdoor time sledding and hiking with Edison.  We also made a trip to the hot springs, which was really fun now that Edison has been in swimming lessons for six months.  He would swim underwater between us and pop up saying "I'm a fish!"

My parents came down for half the week to spend some time with us and eat some turkey.  Edison was in heaven playing and snuggling with his grandparents so much.  We also got to catch up with some of our Boise friends late in the week.

We decorated the house for Christmas when we got home.  Edison was pretty excited about the Christmas tree, but he was most excited about baby Jesus from the nativity scene.  Every morning he moves baby Jesus from his cradle to Mary's arms and every night he moves him back.  He also plays with him during the day.  I had to tell him today that baby Jesus did not want to ride his bouncy horse with him.  Baby Jesus is ceramic, after all...
