Graduation, goats, and kites

Edison "graduated" from the 2-year-old room at his day care last night. He is so excited to move up to the next classroom. It will officially be pre-school with a lot more activities (learning, art, field trips, even music and dance classes).

We were ready a few minutes early, so I took some pictures of him in the yard. Here is about the only one that turned out, plus a funny coincidence. And a video of the ceremony, which is really just each class singing a few songs. He actually sang this year and was very proud of himself.

We went for a gorgeous hike on Tubbs Hill last Saturday.  There are about 200 goats grazing on it right now as fire control.  All of us, but especially Edison and Sophie, enjoyed watching them.

We took Edison to fly kites on Sunday when it was a little windy. He loved it, of course.
