Wedding weekend in Portland

Justin was the best man at wedding in Portland last weekend so we made a long weekend trip of it. Justin had been in North Carolina all week, so Edison and I made the trip to Portland by ourselves to meet him. Edison did not even try to humor me while I took pictures of our trip. I think he is the cutest little traveler.

We spent Thursday night with my aunt Mary Sue. We went had a picnic dinner while watching thousands of birds nest in an abandoned chimney. We all thought it was cool, but Edison in particular loved it.

We went to the zoo on Friday morning and ran into some friends from Boise who were also in town for the wedding.

 

On Friday evening we had the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, and an after party.

On Saturday morning, we explored downtown a little bit and then went to the science museum to tour a submarine.

Justin had to leave early for pictures, so Edison and I hung out at the hotel pool, had a lunch date, and napped. Then we got ready and went to the wedding.

On Sunday we tracked down some breakfast, returned Justin's tux, and headed home.
