We spent Friday evening enjoying some boat time before the weather abruptly turned to fall.
We spent the rest of the long weekend with some friends at their condo at Schweitzer. We all braved the rain to celebrate at Fall Festival, where the adults sampled beer and listened to bands while the kiddos sampled soda and played games. The highlight for Edison was the monkey jump.
Edison also loved getting to spend so much time with his friends: playing, watching movies, and giggling in bed until well past their bedtimes.
He was thoroughly worn out by the end of the weekend. In this sweet moment he left his friends playing, told me he was so tired, and promptly fell asleep in my lap. I'll happily take the snuggles while I still can.
