Fourth of July

Justin and I have managed to lose two of our three phone chargers, leaving us to share the one remaining charger, which is difficult given his travel schedule.  A replacement should be arriving in the mail shortly.  The whole point of this is to offer my excuse for being so late in publishing this post, as the chargers also connect my phone (and primary camera) to my computer.

Justin, Edison, and I spent 10 days in McCall to celebrate the Fourth of July.  We spent the first few days alone, working on a few projects and enjoying the outdoors.

Cooling off in the yard

Swimming with Dad

Building sand castles

Canoeing with Mom and Sophie

Dad was the real power of the canoe

Family and friends showed up for the second half of the week and we had even more fun spending time together.

Playing in the sprinkler with Grammy Jo

Snuggling with Pops

We got a little brave on the Fourth of July.  We let Edison try snaps and sparklers, both of which he loved.  We also put him in his pajamas and took him to the fireworks show downtown, which he also loved.  He's such an easy-going and adventurous little boy!
