Lake house, Ironman, and duck farts

We loaded way too much stuff into our boat, drove a couple bays over, and spent last weekend with some friends at their family lake house. It was a fun little getaway even though we were still so close to home. Edison thought it was the most exciting thing ever to sleep in the same house as his friend Frankie. They were pretty cute together all weekend.

The adults enjoyed an incredible sunset after the kids went to bed. 

Shortly after getting home on Sunday, we threw our annual Ironman watch party where we grill and drink beer in our front yard while watching the run portion of the race. Edison was funny this year. He spent a surprising amount of time clapping for the runners and yelling, "Good job running!"

And then we discovered a fun new game in the bathtub.  It's edited to keep it PG, but still pretty cute!

We're off again soon for a long vacation. Have a great 4th of July!
